Maintain student and other school records and files (METS, IFSPs, CA60s, etc.).Maintain calendar of staff, site, and student schedules. Schedule appointments for Director, Supervisor and staff and receive children, parents and provide assistance as needed.Handle inquiries and schedules/cancellation from parents, staff and other persons in a prompt and courteous manner. Receive incoming calls, answer questions and/or direct them as appropriate.Provide clerical assistance to Director, Supervisor, and staff.Responsibilities Shall Include But Not Be Limited To Must pass criminal background check as required by School Safety Legislation.Work history and reputation of being habitually supportive of peers, general public, and service clientele maintaining outward composure being a positive force in the workplace and working effectively and efficiently with supervision.Present a neat and professional dress and appearance.Flexibility and willingness to adapt to varied responsibilities and work site locations.Possess a mature work attitude along with other personal qualities of loyalty, integrity, pride, and enthusiasm.Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and to work tactfully, patiently, cooperatively, and effectively in daily interactions with staff, parents, children and agency personnel.Ability to function effectively with minimal direct supervision and make minor office decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations.Ability to file and maintain complex clerical records and prepare reports, newsletters, and correspondence as needed.Ability to establish and maintain an efficient and effective filing system.Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Access, PowerSchool Special Ed, AS400 and other applications including data entry and data management skills.
